LIn this four-week online course, we’ll study Ross Gay’s “essayettes” in The Book of Delights and The Book of (More) Delights. Following his example, we’ll practice documenting, the most human details of daily life, embracing playfulness, rabbit-hole footnotes, weird tangents, and meandering sentences that contain beautifully controlled logic and poignant emotional truth.
